History of Jermyn Street London
In 1664, Henry Jermyn, Earl of St Albans obtained a grant from King Charles II to develop a residential neighbourhood known as St James’ Fields with King Street, Charles Street, Duke Street and York Street adjoining. Henry Jermyn is considered the true founder of London’s West End. Jermyn Street today has retained its distinctive and genteel character and remains a quintessentially British experience for gentlemen.

Our location at 43 Amoy Street is in the heritage Telok Ayer area of Singapore and was very carefully chosen. It is at the place that intersects where our clients and members work, play and even where some of our clients live. Amoy Street is at the juxtaposition of the beautiful heritage shop-houses here since Singapore was first built and the gleaming CBD of today. This reflects Jermyn Street too which talks to and acknowledges the rich heritage of Jermyn Street in London but with a contemporary twist of dandy.
